Product Introduction of Angle Bar
Angle bar – equivalent – also known as “L-shaped support” or “angle iron”, is a kind of reinforcement shaped like L. This forms an inner corner and an outer corner. It is made of low carbon steel and is suitable for various applications. Angle steel is used to provide reinforced support for structures that would otherwise not be able to withstand the pressure placed on them. They are also used to reinforce the edges of the surface to prevent damage or erosion caused by weathering. In the simplest sense, angle steel is used to protect any edges and corners that need to maintain its shape.

Applications of Angle Bar
Strengthen support for structure
Large angle bar provides structural support for columns and beams, giving additional strength and stability. They also provide vertical and horizontal support for buildings, such as towers and broadcasting equipment. Since angle steel is made of galvanized steel, they are more resistant to corrosion and other weather effects.
Reinforce edges and corners
Angle bar can also cover edges and corners to help the structure maintain shape and avoid wear and tear usually caused by weather. Sharp corners and edges reinforced with angle steel can last longer and resist cracking and corrosion. They also provide extra strength and make every corner more stable.
Transport heavy objects
In places with a large number of welding and other industrial activities, angle bar can be used to move heavy objects from one point to another when there is no cart or trolley. To do this, flip the angle steel with its closed side facing up and its open side facing the ground. Put the object on it and push it to slide on top of the rod until the object reaches its destination.
Support frame and shelf unit
Smaller angles support bed frames, tables and benches. They are also often used as props for shelves fixed to the wall. When the shelves are full of heavy objects, they provide strong support. However, due to its industrialized appearance, angle bar is most suitable for supporting shelves in places such as garage and laundry.
Packing and Shipping of Angle Bar
The packaging of our products (eg. weathered corrugated steel, weathering corrugated steel, corten steel columnl, hot rolled stainless steel plate) ensures that they will not be damaged during transport. For export purposes, the usual export packaging is done in wooden crates or crates. All hr sheet metal, plates and coils are marked with a logo (company mark), grade, size and batch number. On request, we can customise the marking on the product, such as spcc cold rolled steel.

FAQ
A single angle iron that size screwed into solid wood or other solid material can support 3.9 lbs. of dead weight. If the angle iron is used for shelving, you would use at least two to hold 7.8 lbs. Three angle irons could support 11.7 lbs.
Take the dimensions of the tall portion of the “L.” Calculate the weight by multiplying the width times the length times the height and then multiplying the resulting volume by 0.259. Add these two weights to get the total weight of the angle iron.
- Low-cost material compared to HSLA steels.
- General for construction & industrial applications.
- Galvanized A36 steel angles increase resistance to corrosion.
