Applications of Corrugated Steel Roofing Sheets
Coated corrugated roofing steel sheets are widely used in the construction industry, such as galvanized metal roofing, wall cladding, windows and doors, ceiling, internal and external decoration, etc. In the past, it was mainly used in industrial and civil buildings, such as warehouses, garages. While now it is also very popular in large public buildings due to its various designs, such as airport terminals, railway stations, exhibition halls, gyms, theaters, as well as 2008 Olympic Stadium.

Quality Control of Corrugated Roofing Sheets
We have our own Physical & Chemical Testing Center Lab. to guarantee our product quality. Our test items & instrument fully meet international standards.

Packing of Corrugated Roofing Sheets
Standard Export Packing:
- Galvanized metal and waterproof paper wall protection disk
- Galvanized metal and waterproof paper around circumference and bore protection
About the sea worthy packaging: extra reinforcement before shipment to ensure that the goods are safer and less damaged to customers.

FAQs of Corrugated Roofing Sheets
- Cut the panels to the desired length. Most panels come up to 32 feet (9.8 m) in length. Allow for a minimum of 18 inches (46 cm) if you need to lap to complete the run.
- Pre-drill holes on the ridges. Some panels have pre-drilled holes. If yours do not, then you will need to drill holes in them. Use a 3⁄16 in (4.8 mm) drill bit.
Spacing for the holes on the ends and sides of the panels should be 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm).
- Pre-drill holes on the ridges. Some panels have pre-drilled holes. If yours do not, then you will need to drill holes in them. Use a 3⁄16 in (4.8 mm) drill bit.
- Install the panels. Place them directly onto purlins that are attached to the roof trusses, beginning on the outside edge
Close or seal off the ends with a wood or plastic strip under the panel at each end. These will stop the entry of rain, wind, and pests.
- Install the panels. Place them directly onto purlins that are attached to the roof trusses, beginning on the outside edge
- Screw down the panels. Pre-drill the holes, and use 10 by 2 in (25.4 by 5.1 cm) screws with polycarbonate washers.
Continue across the roof until it is completely covered, lapping over the previous panel by at least 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) minimum.
Adjust the lap so that the last panel completes the coverage without making a cut lengthwise.
The corrugated colour coated sheets coating is a product obtained by subjecting a cold rolled steel sheet or a corrugated metal sheets to a surface chemical treatment (roll coating) or a composite organic coating (such as a PVC coating) and then baking and curing.
- The color coated roofing sheet is made of color-coated steel coil and processed by a Roll Forming Machine.
- The main material of color paint coating is PE paint, which has the characteristics of low price, various colors and high-temperature resistance.
Its base steel is cold rolled sheets, hot galvanized steel sheets, and aluzinc steel sheets. The coating types can be classified into polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride, and plastisol. The surface state of the color coated sheets can be divided into a corrugated panels, a corrugated embossed sheet, and a corrugated pattern sheet.
The color coated sheets for construction are generally made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and hot-dip aluzinc steel sheets. They are mainly processed into corrugated sheets or sandwich sheets with polyurethane and are used for the construction of industrial and commercial buildings such as steel structure workshops, warehouses, and freezers. Roof, wall, door.
The galvalume steel roofing sheet is made of galvalume Steel coil and processed by a roll forming machine.
The anti-fingerprint galvalume corrugated roof panels is coated with anti-fingerprint liquid on the galvalume sheet and plays a role in anti-rust. It is mainly exported to Southeast Asia.
- The corrosion resistance of galvalume steel roofing sheets is 3 to 5 times that of corrugated galvanized steel sheets, and the more severe the corrosion, the greater the difference. Therefore, in the construction roof, corrugated galvalume steel sheets AZ150 should be preferred. If corrugated galvanized steel sheets are used, it should not be lower than Z275, and its service life is much lower than that of AZ150. Therefore, Australia and other countries have clearly stipulated that if corrugated galvanized steel sheets are used as roofing (wall), Z450 must be used.
- AZ150 is about 10-20% more expensive than Z275, but its corrosion resistance is 3~5 times.so corrugated galvalume steel sheets has excellent performance and cost performance.
The corrugated galvanized roof is made of galvanized steel coil and processed by a roll forming machine.
According to the difference of galvanizing, it is divided into big spangle and zero spangles. According to the production method, it can be divided into hot-dip metal corrugated roofing sheets, electro-galvanized steel, and alloy-galvanized steel.
African customers mainly purchase 0.13*665 length, with zero spangles corrugated galvanized steel corrugated roofing.
Among them, we mainly sell corrugated hot-dip galvanized steel sheets because the production of electro-galvanized steel sheets will pollute the environment.
The logo can be customized on the surface of corrugated steel panels according to customer requirements.
The corrugated galvanized steel roofing has a double-sided coating weight of 20-700 g/m2 according to ASTM test. The most commonly used galvanised corrugated roofing sheets for building applications are Z275 and Z450, and the galvanizing amount is 275 g/m2 (the minimum thickness of the single-sided coated of the steel sheet is 19 μm) and 450g/m2.
Color coated corrugated roofing steel sheet is an alloy, not pure iron, but some elements such as carbon and manganese are added, so it becomes very hard, and the proportion of alloy can be changed according to different needs, so as to achieve different purposes. The cold bending process of colorbond sheets is similar to the bending process, but different from the rolling process.
It belongs to a special production method. As the yield strength of steel will be increased during cold working deformation, it can generally be increased by 10% – 15%, and some can be increased by 20%. Therefore, the color steel tile manufactured by this gradual deformation method has light weight and high strength.
The forming principle of color steel tile is to turn the plate into a plate with wave crest through the pressing of equipment, so as to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the plate.
