Steel H-Beams
Product Description
H-beam is an economic cross-section and high efficiency cross-section with more optimized cross-sectional area distribution and more reasonable strength to weight ratio. Its cross-sectional shape resembles the capital Latin letter H. It is also called universal steel beam, broadside (edge) I-beam or parallel flange structure. the cross-section of H-beam usually consists of two parts: web and flange, also called waist and edge. Due to the right angle arrangement of each part of H-beam, H-beam has the advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, cost saving, and light structure in all directions, and has been widely used.

Application Of Steel H Beam
Shaped steel is widely used, mainly for: various civil and industrial building structures; various large-span industrial plants and modern high-rise buildings, especially those in areas with frequent seismic activity and high-temperature working conditions; large bridges requiring large bearing capacity and large cross-section with good stability and span; heavy equipment; highways; ship skeletons; mine supports; foundation treatment and dike works; various mechanical parts.

FAQ
(1) According to the flange width of the product, it is divided into wide flange, medium flange and narrow flange H-beam.
(2) According to the product usage, it is divided into H-beam, H-beam column, H-beam pile, and very thick flange H-beam.
(3) Divided into welded H-beams and rolled H-beams according to production method
(4)Divided into large, medium and small H-beams according to size specification. Generally speaking, products with web height H above 700mm are called large, 300-700mm are called medium, and those with web height H less than 300mm are called small.
H-beams have equal-thickness flanges, rolled cross-sections and combined cross-sections made of 3 plates welded together. I-beams are all rolled sections. Due to the backward production technology, the inner edge of the flange has a slope of 1:10.
I-beams have small side lengths and large heights, and can only withstand one-way forces. h-beam channels are deep and thick, and can withstand forces in both directions
I-beams can only be used for beams, while H-beams can be used for structural load-bearing columns.
The flange of I-beam is a variable bearing surface, the web is thicker and the outer side is thinner; the flange of H-beam is an equivalent bearing surface.
(1) Small pneumatic or electric rust removal
This rust removal method is powered by electricity or compressed air and equipped with corresponding rust removal equipment to reciprocate the rust spot of H-beam and rough up the coating, which is widely used in the process of ship maintenance.
(2) High-pressure water-grinding type rust removal
This rust removal method is to destroy the corrosion and coating of H-beam by the impact of high pressure water jet. No dust pollution, no damage to H-beam, greatly improve the rust removal efficiency, and good quality of rust removal.
(3) Shot blasting descaling
Shot blasting descaling is to use the rotating impeller to throw the abrasive to the steel surface to achieve the effect of rust removal.
(4) Shot Peening
This rust removal method mainly uses particle blasting to achieve the effect of surface cleaning, which can more thoroughly remove the impurities on the surface of H-beam.
